Tillman memorial

I happened to be listening to a memorial service for a soldier named Tillman, who was killed by friendly fire.  I stopped the channel for a moment to listen to his brother paying "tribute" to his life.  His language was profane, and filthy.  He claimed his brother was not in heaven because he was not 'religious'.  Expletives removed.  What a sad way to be remembered.  Filthy language.  I hope no children were watching that.

How sad that a young man can be raised to not even know where you are if you are not in heaven.  Whether you are religious or not, the choices are heaven through the saving blood of Jesus, or eternal torment in hell.  Whether you believe it or not is irrelevant.  You can stand on a train track and deny there is a train coming, but when t hits you - it will be too late to come to your senses.

Then this man's father spoke and said that his son respected religions, and that there is an awful lot of good that comes from them.  Really?  What good exactly comes from religion?

Then the father made this stunning statement:
"The bottom line is no one knows how everything in the world or everything anywhere was ever created.  There's not a human being on this planet that has that answer."

Yes, there most certainly is!  We absolutely do know the answer.  We have God's FIRST HAND ACCOUNT.  He doesn't lie, and He gave all who are open to the truth ... the truth.  He thinks the lies about his son's death are bad, and they are, but they are nothing compared to the lie of evolution.  No wonder he does not know the answer.  Who could believe that fantasy.

It is so heart-breaking to see so many people so lost and so closed minded to the truth of God's law, love, and sacrifice.
