Homosexual Suicides

All suicides are tragic.  They indicate that people are without hope.  Hope is the one thing that the Gospel gives to everyone.

But then all the people wanting to use suicide as a weapon in their political cause come out of the woodwork, looking for ammunition in their zealousness.

Lots of teens have issues.  Many of these issues cause them to act out in certain ways.  Many teens are not taught that they were created by God and are unique and loved by Him.  Many are not taught about morals, the law, heaven, hell, and their eternal souls.  Many are taught that they are accidents of nature, the result of random goo, the descendents of rocks.  Not uniquely created with purpose and an eternal destiny.  Others have medical issues and suffer from clinical depression.

Now, when their meaningless existence is questioned, and they find no answers, some tragically take their own lives.  Then people start trying to figure out why, and then they make assumptions to suit their own political agenda.  If the teen was struggling with sexuality the homosexuals will claim that the reason they took their own life was because they were homosexuals.  Although we have never lived in a time where homosexuality was more embraced and celebrated (sadly).  They don't look for the reasons for their stuggles, they use one thing from this person's life to claim as the reason.

What caused the sexual struggles in these teens?  Was it divorced parents?  Abusive or missing father figure?  No, you cannot criticize abandoning your covenants to your spouse and children.  That could not be the cause!

Was it being picked on at school for their body type, or their weight?  No, that could not be it.

Was it feeling left out at school, and not having a church community that would embrace and uplift the child regularly?  No, that would mean making an effort to spend time with the child around loving families.

Was it the constant criticism from the parents for not getting higher grades, or doing more around the house, without any praise for the things they did well?

It seems like so many people look to homosexuality, and blame that rather than the cause of it.

This is a serious issue.  We need to stop being politically correct, and look at the REAL causes of the problems, not attcking the symptoms.  Let's raise these children with the hope and promise of eternal glory.  The knowledge that God created them and loves each one of them more than they could ever realize.  Get back to the basics.  Honour God.  Honour your covenant to your spouse. Honour your children.

W5 - The duped church.

I watched W5 on the weekend - strictly to see the story on Pete McLeod, the youngest pilot in the Red Bull Air Race, who I know.

However, the first story was about people in a church who lost money investing in something that was too good to be true.  This included the church pastor, who invested $15,000 and lost it all.

There was a woman who borrowed $7,500 in order to invest in this get rich quick scheme.  She had no money, so applied for - and received a loan - in order to invest.  Now that her investment scheme didn't pan out, she is whining about having to pay back the loan.  Like the company that helped her out by lending her the money should pay for her foolish decision.

She said "I owe $7,500 and I got nothing for it!"  Wow, that was a lie.  Isn't lying a sin?  You actually got $7,500 from the lender, not nothing.  You threw it away on a get rich quick scheme.  That is not the lender's fault.  It is none of the lender's business what you do with your money.  You qualified for the loan, they loaned you the money, and you gave it away.  What if you instead used the money for a medical operation for a family member?  If the operation does not go well, and the patient dies - do you then expect not to pay back the loan?  No, you got your loan, and now you have to repay it.

They showed a sermon the pastor was giving, and he was talking about money.  OK, everyone note, this man is not qualified to give advice on money to anyone.  His messages should be targeting greed, and taking responsibility for your poor choices.  Not blaming others for your mistakes.  That is the role of the heathen.

If this is a Christian church, you are supposed to be an honest person and live up to your word.  You borrowed money, and promised - in writing - to repay it at a specified interest rate.  You need to honour you word.  You also need to read what the Bible says about borrowing money.  Had you followed what you claim to follow you would not have made the choices you did.  The love of money is not a good thing, and it certainly should not be promoted from any pulpit.

It is this kind of story that really makes a black mark on the church.  It is bad enough your greed allowed you to get taken advantage of, but you then intentionally try to harm others who were there to help you when you asked for help.

This is not the action of someone walking in the truth.

Miners Rescue

Tonight the last of the 33 miners has been rescued.  Praise God!

What has really been the most beautiful aspect of the Chilean people, is how they are not ashamed nor persecuted for speaking freely about their love for God.  What lovely people.  So many were wearing T-shirts praising God, and quoting Psalm 95.  In this country they would be ridiculed and mocked for having such strong faith.

Thank you Chili ... for showing us how a grateful, God fearing nation, full of humble yet courageous people act in the face of tragedy.  We have much to learn about life from these people.  It is in the face of tragedies like this, that people examine their lives - and their eternity.

Thank you CNN for allowing Larry King to talk during the most important discussion taking place between the President and the Foreman just rescued.  Larry - that was rude.  We don't care what you think.  Then to totally pollute the evening by airing someone whose name is not worthy to even be mentioned in the same context.  He is obese, foul-mouthed, and lives by making untrue documentaries.  What a contrast to the Chilean culture.  This obese liar, thinks that his faith is truth, and everyone else is an idiot.  He mocks that which he doesn't understand.  He actually believes that life came from non-life, and he mocks others who are more intellectually sound, including those courageous Chilean people.Way to go Larry, you ruined the end of a remarkable event.

The Train is coming ...

.
Many people refuse to accept that there is a God, and that they will face Him and His wrath one day.

That is very much like standing on a train track ... feeling the vibrations, seeing the light, but denying there is a train approaching. Whether you believe in the train or not, when it hits you - it will be too late to then say "OK now I believe".  When you die, you will face God, and whether you believe He exists or not, will be irrelevant.  He does exist, and He will judge you, and His standard is perfection.  He will either pour out His wrath on you, or on a substitute.  That substitute is Jesus.  He died, so that His blood will pay the price for every single transgression and sin.  You need only repent, and trust in Jesus.

We will either be a praise offering to God in heaven, or a burnt offering to Him in hell.

No matter what, you will praise God for all eternity.  I urge you to stop suppressing what you know to be true, and experience the real meaning of life.

To glorify God, and enjoy Him forever.

The train is coming ... it could be any moment ...

Hitler's DNA

They have now managed to test the DNA of Hitler's relatives, and they have discovered that Adolf Hitler had Jewish and African roots.

Sweet irony.

National Geographic can't suppress the Thuth

I just watched a video clip by National Geographic where they were dissecting a Giraffe.

Throughout the clip the "scientists" are just amazed at the design of the animal.

At the end of the clip the scientist explaining all the design features (Graham Mitchell) exclaims:

"Couldn't be more beautifully designed!"

Then there was a long pause, and it looked like he caught the eye of someone off camera, and then he sheepishly said "evolved.".

What a hilarious clip.  He couldn't even hide his own amazement at the wonder of God's design.

Thank you National Geographic.

Finally, a word of truth.

Obama [peace be upon him]

What is Obama [the hypocritical heathen]'s view on abortion?

"Abortion should be safe, legal, and rare."

Safe?  Not for the victim.
Legal?  Not according to God's law.
Rare?  Why, unless it IS a baby?

Then he goes on to talk about a family needs to "struggle" with the decision.  Why is it a struggle if it is just a wart, or a blob of tissue?  It is a struggle, and it should be rare - specifically because you KNOW it is a baby.

The hypocrisy around this issue is stifling.

As is the hypocrisy of a person like Obama claiming to be a follower of Jesus.  It is nauseating just putting your name in the same sentence with the God you mock with your actions.

He is a universalist.  He doesn't even understand the gospel.

Repent, Obama, Repent.
