Tim Tebow - man of character.

Mocked by the Cackle Crew on The View.

I am so thankful that other people sit through all the nonsense on "The View" so that I don't have to!  LOL

You knew it was coming ... as soon as those pro-abortion women get wind of a TV ad for the Super Bowl that is not in line with their personal views - they attack it.  Their minds are as closed as they could be.

They call themselves pro-choice - but this example yet again proves the deceit in the their claims.  They are not for choice at all.  This ad (produced by Focus on the Family) promotes one of the "choices" they are supposed to be FOR.   They are NOT pro-choice at all.  They are pro-abortion.  At least have the integrity to be honest.

The ad is about Tim Tebow and his mother, and how she decided NOT to abort her baby, despite her doctor recommending it after she had a life-threatening infection during her pregnancy.  The doctors expected Tim to be stillborn, but his mother protected her child.  She loved him to life.  Now he is a famous football star and Heisman Trophy winner.  The first sophomore to do so.

Tim nad his parents are Christians, and the women on the view hate God, and hate Christians.  They hate anyone who has a different view than they do.  Their show should be called "The ONLY View", since they clearly are intolerant of other views.

For people who claim to be pro-choice, this ad is about the OTHER choice.  The choice to love your baby.  The choice to keep the life that has begun in you, and protect and care for them, even if you give your baby and another family the precious gift of adoption.

The ad does not even use the word "abortion".  So why are these self-proclaimed "pro-choice" women so upset about an ad that could save many lives?  Why are they angry at women who make different choices than THEY do?   I'd like to hear that these intolerant women have on their show some day, a person that is the result of a rape.  I would like to hear that they look this woman in the eye, and tell her that she should not be here. That she should have been aborted.  It's so easy to marginalize and belittle people when they are not sitting right there. Do they ever quote the numbers of suicides from women who can't handle their choice?  Or the depression and guilt?

This is not a difficult issue.  For the Christian it is not even an option.  No authentic Christian is pro-choice, because they know that murder is sin, and throughout scripture we are told how God has known us since we were in the womb.  We also know that we are judged on what they condone. And we know that science has proven that at the very time of conception, there is unique DNA.  Proof of new life.  Isn't it funny how they only use science when it serves their political purpose.

Why do people on The View get so angry over this?  Why are they so intolerant?  They profess to be pro-choice, but get angry if you choose life.  So on top of being intolerant, they are dishonest.

These are the women that so many look to for wisdom?

Well done Tim Tebow!  Bless you for having the courage to stand up for what is right, no matter how unpopular.  Your integrity outshines and stands tall over all the bigotry those on the view can spew at you and everyone else with Godly morals.

Keep it up ...

State of the Union ... hypocrisy from the top ...

Obama, the abortion president, made some interesting comments during his speech.  His hypocrisy continues...

We all know he claimed to be a Christian, despite his clearly pagan views, and despite the fact that he had no problem attending a racist church, and choosing to ingest their teachings for 20 years.  That is, until he decided to run for office, and knew he had better distance himself.

And of course he claimed on national TV - when asked when life began - said that the answer was "above my pay grade".  Which clearly is a lie, since he immediately passed laws to allow the killing of the preborn.  Only someone that knows for sure when life begins, would pass laws to encourage and promote the slaughter of the most vulnerable citizens under his protective responsibility.    Everything he says, and everything he does, proves that he has no clue what a Christian is.  At least have the integrity to be honest.  Don't pretend to be what you clearly are not.

Back to his speech:

He said he supported the discriminatory practice of prosecuting hate crimes.

I don't know who came up with the idea that we should have hate crimes ("thought police") - but there is perhaps no greater threat to our freedom than this.  The idea that some people in society are more valuable than others is repugnant.  Hate crime laws are, by definition, disciminatory, and therefore should be abolished.  For discrimination to be promoted by a leader is appalling.

Someone sits down and creates a "list".  This is the list of "preferred people".  People that can be hated.  Of course ALL people can be hated.  The notion that there are "preferred people" for whom a stricter penalty will be enforced if an equal crime is committed against them, over someone who is not on this "preferred people" list, is discriminatory.  It is also illogical, biased, unfair, and quite evil.

The law is supposed to be applied EQUALLY to everyone.  There should not be 2 classes of people.  Those ON the list, and those unworthy of making it to the list.  The problem is that this list should have EVERY PERSON on it - and therefore NEGATES the very purpose of having the list.  You could argue that the person deciding who is not worthy to make "the list" is rejecting them out of hatred.  Oh the irony.

For example.  A woman who is walking down the street is assaulted.  Her attacker is caught and sentenced to 3 days in jail (welcome to Canada).   A male homosexual is assaulted to the same degree and the attacker is caught and given 1 year in jail because someone decided that it was based on hatred and applied to the victim because they were on "the list" of preferred people.

Who has the right to decide that the woman in this example is not as valuable a person as the man?  It is absurd. We are all equal and should be treated equally under that law.  All crimes are hate crimes.  You wouldn't assault someone if you didn't hate them.  The reason for the hatred is irrelevant.

The very concept of dishing out sentencing in such an unequal manner should offend everyone.

A person is free to think and feel however they wish.  To punish people for how they think is very, very dangerous.  Just wait to see how Christians will be persecuted further using the idiocy of this way of thinking.

We cannot claim to want equality when we promote such thoughtless and cruel discriminatory policies.  In fact, the more open and free people are to discuss issues, the more likely that their hatred will be exposed and can be dealt with.  Gagging their free speech is like sweeping the problem under a carpet.

Whoopi Doo Duh!

I heard a clip of Whoopi from The View - no I don't watch it - ... for reasons exactly like this nonsense ...

She was so angry that Pat Robertson gave his view of who he thought caused the earthquake.  We all have an opinion on this.  Stating an opinion is no test for truth.  You can believe the moon is made of cheese, or there was no holocaust, or that we evolved from guppies ... but that doesn't make any of them true.

She said "I'm sick and tired of people saying they know who caused the earthquake.  ....  It was Mother Nature that caused it!

So she criticizes someone else for stating their opinion and then she gives hers.  In fact she gets paid for giving her ungodly opinion.  She just doesn't tolerate anyone else having an opinion.   Her opinion is better.  She is better.  She is intolerant. What she means is that she is angry that not everyone in the world thinks the same way she does. She doesn't even define who Mother Nature is.  It is just a fictitious name, that most people (who deny the existence of Father God) give to Him in an effort to strip Him of His glory.  They worship the creation instead of the creator.

Oh, the irony ... Whoopi don't you have another rally to go to where you can vent your anger and scream at people for having the audacity to defend human life?

Dumpster Devotions.

Doesn't it break your heart when you hear about children being saved, and their parents refusing for them to even have a Bible in their house?  This story about the young Jewish lady who was saved, and the parents refused her to have a Bible in the house nor speak about her faith honestly.

This young lady had to sneak out and get her Bible from a friend who keeps it for her, and in order to prevent any of her friends from 'reporting her' to her parents, she would read it in an empty dumpster for 3 hours. What a glorious example of love for God. This should be an example for all of us who are free to read but don't do it as often as we should.

It reminds me of a friend at church who told of his parents disowning him when he was saved as a teenager.  He actually watched his own funeral from a distance where his parents pretended to bury him (an empty casket) because he was dead to them for becoming one of the 'few' who will see heaven.  Can there be anything more ironic?  He received eternal life, and they put him into the ground as if he were dead.  So the dead were burying life.  Those lost in darkness were burying the light.

"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven"

Hyphenated Relationships

Have you noticed how many fractured surnames there are today?  I don't know if it is a craze, or people aren't quite sure if they plan to stick with the marriage, or they are wanting people to know they are not one flesh, but two people joined by a hyphen.

Consider the long term impact of this.  Someone named Smith-Jones ends up marrying someone named Watkinson-Maclean.  Would their married surname be Smith-Jones-Watkinson-Maclean?  Where does it end?  Their child meets someone named Frankish-Johnston-Peabody-Roberts, and they end up with a surname of Smith-Jones-Watkinson-Maclean-Frankish-Johnston-Peabody-Roberts or is it Frankish-Johnston-Peabody-Roberts-Smith-Jones-Watkinson-Maclean?

This is not just about tradition, unity and becoming ONE flesh.  A lot of it is just common sense, but I don't recall ever seeing this before the feminist movement started.  I have heard women advising other married women with advice for safeguarding themselves against the devastation of divorce.  If you plan for divorce, then you are no longer operating in a life long covenant.  So many people don't understand the difference between a promise and a covenant.

Have you ever been to a wedding where God was not invited?  It is empty, dark, and very sad.  It breaks my heart.

The Case for Atheism

Wow.  In a word ... Amazing.

This 2-DVD debate between Tood "Freakishly Tall" Friel (Wretched Radio), and an atheist named Dan.

This is a powerful debate.  Not really fair, because Todd has the Armour of God, the Sword of the Spirit, history, science, ethics, and the law on his side.  Poor Dan has only feelings.   One of those feelings is hatred for God.

It needs to be stated that there is no such thing as an atheist.  An atheist is someone who claims "There is no God."  This is a self-defeating statement.  In order to state this, you would need to know everything there is to know about everything in the universe.  That would make you God, which is the opposite of your posit.

Dan claimed to have been a Christian in the past, but described someone who doesn't understand the basics of what it means to be a Christian.  Clearly - even today - he doesn't know what a Christian is.    He said he drove all around for years trying to "earn" good works.  This clearly demonstrates that he doesn't understand what separates Christianity from all other religious systems.  It is not about works.  You cannot earn your way to heaven.  He said he spoke in tongues, and could still speak in tongues.  Another clear sign he is not truthful.  He doesn't believe there is a spirit, but he can display it? Wow.  He kept using the phrase "fruits" of the spirit.  Scripture does talk about the "fruit" of the spirit.  It is not plural.  Yet another thing he does not understand.

He described his mother, who also claimed to have been a Christian in the past, but felt so happy after becoming an atheist, because she didn't have to "HATE" any more.  What a perverted idea of what it means to be saved.  Scripture clearly teaches that if you claim to be a Christian, but you hate anyone, you are a liar, and guilty of murder.  (1 John 2:9, 1 John 3:15)  It really makes you wonder what kind of sick cult this family was indoctrinated into.  It breaks my heart to see someone so lost, so full of hate, while claiming to know what light is. It sounds like he has replaced his hatred for people with a hatred for God.

This is a great DVD.  I highly recommend it for everyone.

The Shack

If you embrace universalism and love heresy - this book is for you! There are many websites and sermons written by solid teachers pointing out the many heresies in this book.

One of the best I've seen is this one:

http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&VideoID=56872791

There are plenty of good books about God out there that are Biblical and theologically sound.
Read something edifying. Don't fund this kind of heretical writing. It hurts the bride.
