I watched this movie the other day.
In a word. Weird.
It was slow, and near the middle I was just wanting it to be over.
It was typical hollywood. People thinking about death without any consideration or concern for where they will be spending eternity. Not a single word about God, Heaven, or Hell.
The main character was driving while using his blackberry. His wife was in the car with him, and his distraction caused the deaths of several people. He was grieving his mistake, and the cost of his actions. Too bad he didn't experience the forgiveness and peace that is available to us all.
His last act was to kill himself.
So much talk about death, and the most important thing is not even mentioned, let alone discussed.
A sad commentary on the post modern, godless world we live in.
Truth matters. Words have meaning. Life is eternal. Hell is real.
Living in denial, and never talking about the most important things in life, is just plain sad.
