The Afterlife....

The wisdom of the lost.

At the end of one of the episodes of Boston Legal, Denny Crane and Allen Short are on their balcony having another 'deep' discussion.

DC: "When you get to be my age, you worry about the afterlife.  Where you're heading.  Do you ever think about those things?"

AS: "Sometimes.  Then I remember what Mark Twain said ... You go to Heaven for the climate, but to Hell for the company ... so no matter what ... in the end ..."

DC:  "We'll be together".

AS: "Indeed".

DC: "Soul mates in Hell.  I love it."

=============================

Wow.  Really?  You will love being in a "lake of fire" ... in torment for eternity?

It is so easy to say those words.  What nonsense. You won't last 3 seconds before you would give anything to have made different decisions in your life.

It's amazing how many people dedicate their lives to living immoral lives, ignoring God, squirreling their money away in RRSPs, without a single thought for their Eternal Plan ... but as we know, once you die, you cannot change your destination.
